Welcome Back!
Hello Brookers and welcome back to your one and only online newspaper, the EYE OF NEWT! I know you’re all excited about our third edition (can you believe it’s been three years?) and so are we. This year is off to a great start and we have many exciting surprises planned for you. First of all, we are now bi-weekly, which means you have two weeks to read the amazing articles on the site before we replace them with new ones! Our newspaper is run by the students, for the students and about the students! Our team consists of over 20 dedicated staff including editors, journalists, photographers, columnists and technicians. They work hard to please our readers (that’s you!) by providing information about subjects that are important to them.
Check out the News Section to find interesting details about past school events and sports games. Here you’ll also be able to find out more about some of Brook’s most talented students (you may even read about yourself in this section sometime!), along with juicy details about some of Newtonbrook’s staff, because I’m sure you’ve all been wondering what your English teacher does outside of school! (Besides marking of course.) Or, if you’re a video game fanatic, head over to our Entertainment Section to browse through numerous reviews, including games, music, books and movies!
However, the Eye of Newt is also a place for your voices to be heard, because we want to hear (or read, in this case) what you have to say.
So send your strong and lengthy opinion on any subject to us at speakoutbrook@hotmail.com and we’ll feature your article on Have Your Say.
